Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion primarily assist with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. EMOHCs may also receive additional training in order to be authorized to take Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.
Training is necessary to serve as an EMOHC. Ask a current EMOHC for more information if you wish to serve in this ministry.

On the Ministry of Lectors Handout 2-13-17
Young men and women who are at least in the 3rd grade or higher and have received their First Holy Communion are eligible to assist at Mass to enhance the worship of our faith community. Senior Altar Servers
Men who have been confirmed and are given additional training to assist at weekend liturgies as well as other liturgical celebrations, to include funerals, quinceaneras, and sacramental celebrations.
Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass and assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection of the offering.

Musicians and cantors are responsible for the enhancement of liturgical celebrations of the parish through song and music. If interested in this ministry, speak with a current music minister.
The Ministry of Musicians
Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass, and responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
Additionally, the Sacristans help the pastor prepare the liturgical environment in accordance with the liturgical seasons of the Church.
